atennd/go to
organize/schedule
call/have
chair/run
call of/cancel
get started/open
hold/host
…. a meeting.
Prideve možemo podeliti u tri kategorije:
Positive: crucial, decisive, key, successful, valuable, vital
Type: crisis, emergency, urgent
Negative: acrimonious, angry, difficult, endless, fractious, fruitless, inconclusive, interminable
U formalnom okruženju naravno da se nećemo obratiti nepoznatoj osobi sa „How’s it going?“ i isto tako nećemo pitati prijatelja „How do you do“?
U kontekstu sastanka trebalo bi znati modale shall, should, could, would.
air things out – otvoreno govoriti o stvarima
ruffle some feathers – naljutiti nekoliko ljudi
cut to the chase – biti direktan
set the record straight – reći glasno i jasno
to be a game changer – postaviti nove impusle
kudos to sb. – velika pohvala za nekoga
keep everyone on the same page – postići dogovor svih strana
see eye to eye – biti istog mišljenja
cut the mustard – nešto doprinositi
To bi bilo sve za danas. Želimo Vam uspešan sastanak.
Do sledećeg čitanja.
